Yes, there are some similarities between sma connectors and adapter type n, but these are two different connectors. Also, LINKWORLD SMA type of connectors are smaller and can be used in dense spaces. Type N You'll find that the Type N connector is a bit bigger and can support more power. If you are going to convert your SMA connectors to Type N you will need some tools. These are coax cable, wire cutters and the Type N connector itself. With a few simple steps, you can convert your connectors from SMA to Type N.

The Basics of SMA to Type N Connector Conversion

Now you'll have both the center core wire and the braided wire visible. Attach the core wire to the centre pin of the type n connector and the braid wire to the outside of the connector.
